Our Sustainability Promise

Updated: Apr 29, 2019

Sustainability, global warming and the environmental problems of our planet is serious business and definitely not something to be taken lightly.

Following King Bhumibol’s sustainable development approaches

His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who passed away on Thursday Oct 13, 2016, was implementing projects that would support the long-term development of Thailand’s rural regions and environmental degradation. Royal Projects initiated under the direction of King Bhumibol also focused on occupational development, he depletion of natural resources, climate change, extreme weather and a cycle of flooding and drought.

How we can help heal this Earth

We repeatedly see its effects on nature, weather, our daily lives, and it has been and continues to be a large part of the conversation in the aromatherapy industry and here at Siam Candles. Responsible production is something we care a lot about and we firmly believe that it is just as important for a corporation to produce responsibly as it is for a consumer to purchase responsibly.

What is recyclable? How do I recycle properly?

Recycling is one of the easiest steps you can take to minimize your carbon footprint. Everything Siam Candles produces is 100% recyclable - from our products to our mailer box.

We choose materials keeping nature in mind. Our main mission to reduce waste as much as possible so we use a 100% eco-friendly soy wax and high quality essential oils. Our wicks are made from 100% natural cotton and are lead-free. We encourage you to to use up all of our products to the last drop and recycle our glasses as your home decor after using.

You can easily clean the container with warm water and leave it to dry. You can then pot some herbs or plants. All of Siam Candles' products are gluten free and vegan, and do not come in any contact with gluten during production, unless stated otherwise.

Plastic-free and Zero-waste!

We opted for 100% recyclable packaging by using glass instead of plastic. We believe that there are many ways to contribute to this earth and our local community here in Thailand. Thus, what we can do at this very moment is to promote responsible consumption to our community.

If you want to learn even more about our packaging, by the end of this article - feel free to leave us a comment and we will try our best to answer all of your questions.
